CIS 253 Cisco Routers IOS
(Contact Hours: 5) This course covers the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in a small network environment. Students will learn how to configure a router and a switch for beginning functionality along with learning to troubleshoot routers and switches, and resolve network services. This is the second of four networking courses required to prepare students for the CCNA (Certified Cisco Network Administrator) Certification Exam. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of CIS 221 is REQUIRED. Corequisite: CIS 223 or CIS 224.
