EDMT 103 Fundamentals Machine Tool Ops
(Contact Hours: 8) This course provides an introduction to the concepts and techniques of machine tool operations. Upon completion of this course, the student will have the skills and technical knowledge in math calculations, basic inspection techniques, and set up and operation of the lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, and drill press operations. The student will also have gained basic knowledge in industrial safety, cutting tools and fluids, and other related topics. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
