EDMT 183 Introduction to Revit
(Contact Hours: 7) The course will introduce the student to Autodesk Revit Architecture software. Revit uses Building Information Model (BIM) technology along with parametric building design concepts and documentation tools to create full size, functional, virtual buildings. The student will learn how to use Revit to create 3D digital models for not only design and construction documentation but also for design visualization. After completing this course, the student should be able to contribute to the production of architectural projects in an architectural office environment using Revit Architecture software. Recommended prerequisite: EDMT 100. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
