AGF 105 Food Industry Career Planning

(Contact Hours: 2) This course will introduce students to career opportunities in sustainable agriculture, food systems, culinary, beverage industry, and food service operations. Students will explore how concepts of nutritional balance and environmental sustainability are applied to the food industry. Careers will be explored through field trips, speakers, and lectures. Students will evaluate their own knowledge/skill base and learn how to pursue careers of interest through skill development in resume writing, job searches, portfolios, and interviewing. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
