HRY 210 History of the Far East
(Contact Hours: 3) A survey of civilization in the Far East, this course focuses on China and Japan. Emphasis is given to the transformation of the Far East in modern times under the influence of the West. Topics such as imperialism, nationalism, and the social, political, and economic development within the major countries are explored. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of ENG 110 or ENG 160 is REQUIRED.
