HVAC 105 Heat Load Calculations
(Contact Hours: 3) This course will cover how heat gain and loss are calculated to determine load requirements for proper air conditioning, including external and internal loads as well as state mechanical requirements for proper ventilation. This course will also introduce duct design for residential and commercial applications and will be directly related to the heat loads of the structures. Proper design, size, shape and types, and duct construction will be covered. Also included will be equipment selection and common installation practices. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
