SOC 201 Intro to Cultural Anthropology

(Contact Hours: 3) This course is a survey of cultural anthropology. Cultural anthropology is the examination of the various ways people have coped with life's challenges. It includes archaeology, linguistics, and ethnology. PREREQUISITE: Reading -- SAT: 22, Accuplacer: 53, NextGen Accuplacer: 248, ACT: 14, COMPASS: 65, or ENG 099, or TRS 096 and either TRS 104 or TRS 105 is REQUIRED; Writing and Math -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
