AUTO 153 Adv Fuel & Emissions Systems
(Contact Hours: 8) The student will expand on the knowledge gained in AUTO 151 and apply the theories to the more advanced systems found on current vehicles. Systems covered include computer controlled electronic ignition and fuel systems, distributorless ignition, direct ignition, throttle-body and port fuel injection, on-board diagnostic II systems, and other related component systems. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of AUTO 151 is REQUIRED.
