BREW 140 Brewhouse Operations & Tech
(Contact Hours: 5) Serving as part one of quality beer production, students in this course will create beer recipes utilizing brewing materials, scientific theory, quality operations, and an array of brewing technology. Additionally, students will gain knowledge of technological design, materials of construction, and operation and performance of a brewhouse. Safe operation of brewhouse equipment and processes will be emphasized along with sustainable methods of quality production. A basic understanding of process management will be discussed. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of BREW 100, BREW 130, and BREW 152 is REQUIRED.
