DHY 105 Dental Assisting I

(Contact Hours: 4) This course covers the essentials of the basic background knowledge and skill needed for an entry-level dental assistant. The dental assisting student is introduced to the importance of a variety of delegated tasks including infection control, medical history assessment, and four handed dentistry for restorative and surgical procedures. Admission to the program is REQUIRED.
