ENG 223 Creative Non-Fiction
(Contact Hours: 4) This course is an introduction to creative non-fiction. Throughout the course, students read and critique works of creative non-fiction, i.e. the creative essay, memoir, biography, interview, and articles in new journalism. Students find inspiration from these readings and use them to craft their own writings of articles and essays, then workshop them and build portfolios of their own non-fiction pieces. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of ENG 110 or ENG 160 is REQUIRED.
