The Phlebotomy Technician Academy prepares students to gain national certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Students will learn to draw blood from patients and prepare it for diagnostic testing. Phlebotomists are crucial members of many clinical teams. They work in labs, hospitals, doctor’s offices, medical surgery centers, nursing homes, and many other settings. Phlebotomy is a career that can stand alone, but is also a place to start for nursing and many other clinical careers. You will be trained in the fully equipped classroom, state-of-the art lab, and clinical settings.
