DHY 256 Pharmacology

(Contact Hours: 2) The course is a study of drugs with special emphasis given to those used in the dental office. The student learns the origin of these drugs, their basic physical and chemical properties, methods of administration, and effects upon the body systems. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of DHY 241, DHY 242, DHY 244, DHY 248, and DHY 249 is REQUIRED.
