EDMT 145 Descriptive Geometry

(Contact Hours: 5) Descriptive geometry is the mathematical science of graphical (drawing) representation and spatial (three-dimensional) relationship solutions of points, lines, and planes by means of orthographic projections. By using descriptive geometry techniques, the position of points, true length of lines, true size of planes and true angles in 3D space can be determined in a 2D environment. Descriptive geometry is the fundamental tool used in orthographic projection of graphic problems in architectural and engineering disciplines throughout the world. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
