EDMT 270 CAD-CAM
(Contact Hours: 8) This course will use the College's CNC and Rapid Prototyping machines along with the CAD and CAM software to design and machine a project that is representative of modern design and manufacturing. Students will be immersed in a realistic work environment to solve the challenges of design and manufacturing. CAD, CAM and prototyping skills and group projects will be a central focus. Recommended prerequisite: EDMT 103, EDMT 160 or EDMT 165 or EDMT 171, and EDMT 230. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
