EDU 096 Fundamentals of Reading
(Contact Hours: 3) This course is designed to help students refine literal comprehension skills and to develop analytic skills. Students will work to refine skills in vocabulary acquisition, identify main ideas and details, and summarize and employ critical literacy. The Accelerated Matriculation Program (AMP) curriculum in particular is designed to support students in the corequisite ENG 078 course. PREREQUISITE: Writing and Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
