HRY 207 History of Russia

(Contact Hours: 3) A survey of modern Russian history with some emphasis on tsarist foundations, this course traces Europe's influence on Russia, the beginnings of the Revolution of 1917, the evolution of the former USSR, and its impact on the world. PREREQUISITE: Writing and Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
