RCP 225 Respiratory Care Sem/Clin III

(Contact Hours: 23) The seminar will discuss the advanced application of those techniques and concepts used in critical care medicine for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Advanced life support systems, invasive and non-invasive monitoring, and critical care patient management are presented. This course is the advanced critical care clinical experience in the program. Emphasis is placed on advanced life support systems, invasive and non-invasive physiological monitoring, and management of the critically ill patient. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of RCP 200 and RCP 210 is REQUIRED. Corequisite: RCP 230.
