BIO 215 Human Anatomy & Physiology II
(Contact Hours: 6) This course is the second in a two-semester sequence of human anatomy and physiology. This second course presents a detailed study of structure and function of six of the eleven human body systems. The role of cells, tissues, and organ systems in maintaining body function and homeostasis will be emphasized in the cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. The course uses a lecture and laboratory format to illustrate the concepts of anatomy and physiology and provides the foundation for further study in the health careers. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of BIO 115 is REQUIRED.
