CIS 221 Introduction to Networks
(Contact Hours: 5) This course covers networking architecture, structure, and function. It introduces the principles and structure of IP addressing and the fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations to provide a foundation for the curriculum. This is the first of four networking courses required to prepare students for the CCNA (Certified Cisco Network Administrator) Certification Exam. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of CIS 110 and CIS 115 is REQUIRED.
