DHY 241 Dental Materials & Specialties
(Contact Hours: 4) This course is a study of biomaterials for the fundamental skills of clinical dental hygiene. The student is introduced to the science of dental materials and will have an understanding of the behavior of materials, how to handle the materials properly and to educate the client concerning the dental material. The student will investigate and report on the various dental specialties. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of DHY 113 is REQUIRED.
