EDMT 130 Tech Drawing w/AutoCAD
(Contact Hours: 8) This course will explore the principles of orthographic projection through both manual and 2D AutoCAD (CAD) equipment. Fundamental 2D AutoCAD skills will be taught within this class. Engineering Graphics topics will include sketching, orthographic projection, auxiliary views, secondary auxiliary views, full, half, and offset sections, dimensioning (imperial and metric units), tolerancing of fits, threaded fasteners (imperial and metric units), working in teams, assembly drawings, and some basic design practices. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
