NURS 253 Integrated Psychosocial Nurse
(Contact Hours: 4.5) This is a course designed to provide clinical experience in a variety of mental healthcare settings allowing the nursing student to function in the roles as provider of care, manager of care, and as a member of the discipline of nursing for clients/families with complex mental health issues. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of NURS 222, NURS 224, NURS 236, NURS 237, NURS 245, and NURS 247 is REQUIRED. Corequisite: NURS 248, NURS 249, NURS 252, and NURS 270.
