SOC 200 The Family

(Contact Hours: 3) This course is a study of the general cultural background of the contemporary family. This includes an assessment of the structure, roles, and functions of the family, an investigation of the family successes and difficulties, and an analysis of the family's relationship to other social institutions. PREREQUISITE: Writing and Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
