PHY 111 College Physics I
(Contact Hours: 5) This is a first non-calculus course in general college physics intended for students in pre-science. Topics included are mechanics, heat, and sound, using mathematical skills of algebra and trigonometry. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of MATH 115 or successful completion of or concurrent enrollment in MATH 120, MATH 150, MATH 152, MATH 156, MATH 158, MATH 160, MATH 162, MATH 215, MATH 220, MATH 260, or MATH 264 is REQUIRED.
