ENG 201 English Literature I

(Contact Hours: 4) This course will survey major English writing from Beowulf to the beginnings of Romanticism. Authors read may include Chaucer, Spenser, Shakespeare, Donne, Milton, Swift, Johnson and others. Recommended prerequisite: ENG 110. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
