PSY 240 Applied Behavior Analysis
(Contact Hours: 4) This course covers the principles of operant conditioning and the experimental analysis of behavior as they have been extended to a variety of applied settings such as schools, day care centers, hospitals, business and industry, and individual therapy. Functional behavioral assessment and single-case experimental design will be used to develop and test hypotheses. It is especially recommended for those aspiring to major in psychology and specialize in applied behavior analysis. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of PSY 150 and ENG 110, ENG 110 Honors, or ENG 160 is REQUIRED. High school psychology does not meet the prerequisite unless the student earned an AP Psychology examination score of 3 or higher.
