FIRE 111 Building Construction

(Contact Hours: 3) Students will explore the methods and materials used to construct buildings, how the design and engineering of a structure can influence smoke and fire travel, and how the structural integrity of a building is affected by fire. The safety of building occupants and firefighters is emphasized. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
