MATH 079 Conceptual Arithmetic
(Contact Hours: 3) This course is intended for students who need to improve their conceptual understanding of whole numbers, fractions, or decimals. The emphasis of the course is on estimation, simple measurement, mental strategies, language usage, reasoning skills, and real world applications. A weekly Guided Learning Workshop (GLW) is attached to each section of MATH 079. Contact your instructor to find out the GLW days and times for your section. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
