TRS 102 Intermediate Reading Skills
(Contact Hours: 3) This course is designed to provide intensive work on refining critical reading skills. Students in this course work on summarizing, evaluating, and synthesizing information from one or more sources. The use of technology in reading and learning will also be highlighted. PREREQUISITE: Reading -- SAT: 22, Accuplacer: 53, NextGen Accuplacer: 233, ACT: 14, COMPASS: 65, or ENG 079, or TRS 096 and either TRS 104 or TRS 105 REQUIRED; Writing and Math -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
