CHM 130 General Chemistry II
(Contact Hours: 6) This is the second semester of general college chemistry. Successful completion with a 2.0 or better in CHM 120 is required. Topics will include solution chemistry, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, solubility, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and an introduction to organic chemistry. Additional topics may include nuclear chemistry and/or coordination compounds. Laboratory exercises will enhance the topics of the course. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of CHM 120 is REQUIRED. MATH 150 is recommended.
