DHY 111 Anatomy, Embryology, Histology
(Contact Hours: 2) This course presents a study of the structure and form of the teeth. Histology and embryology focus on the development of the orofacial complex. Knowledge gained is fundamental in helping the student determine normal, atypical and abnormal elements during oral examination and dental charting procedures. Admission to the program is REQUIRED. Corequisite: DHY 113, DHY 114, and DHY 119. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
