PSY 240 Applied Behavior Analysis
(Contact Hours: 5) This course covers the principles of of applied behavior analysis as they have been extended to a variety of settings such as schools, day care centers, hospitals, business and industry, and individual therapy. Functional behavioral assessment and single-case experimental designs will be used to develop and test hypotheses. In addition, students will complete virtual rat laboratory experiments to demonstrate how the fundamentals of operant conditioning buttress applied behavior analysis. Comment: Student will be required to have access to a computer that will run Sniffy the Virtual Rat software. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of PSY 150 is REQUIRED.
