WELD 120 Introduction to Welding

(Contact Hours: 7) This course is the introductory welding course designed for welders and non-welders. It covers the basic safe operation of the oxy-fuel welding, cutting and brazing systems along with training in the basic electric arc welding processes, SMAW (arc), GMAW (mig), GTAW (tig), and FCAW. These processes provide the skills necessary to select and operate welding equipment safely.
