DHY 248 Community Dental Hygiene I
(Contact Hours: 1) The dental hygiene student will work with an assigned group in assessing the oral health needs of the community, planning and developing an intervention project with a target group, and begin the intervention. This project will continue the following semester with an analysis of the project including the outcomes. Each group will create a table clinic and present their project in DHY 258. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of DHY 131 and DHY 139 is REQUIRED. Corequisite: DHY 241, DHY 242, DHY 244, and DHY 249.
