DHY 258 Community Dental Hygiene II
(Contact Hours: 4) The dental hygiene student will provide dental hygiene care for the community by practicing oral disease control procedures at a variety of off-campus sites. Discussion sessions deal with solving community dental health needs, the use of biostatistics, and evaluation of health levels. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of DHY 241, DHY 242, DHY 244, DHY 248, and DHY 249 is REQUIRED. Corequisite: DHY 251, DHY 256, and DHY 259.
