AUTO 200 Alternative Auto Propulsion

(Contact Hours: 4) This course will be of interest and specifically geared toward existing automotive students as well as technicians already employed in the field. The focus is to provide the student with instruction on alternative automotive propulsion systems that are presently being used for the automobile transportation industry. Course content will include instruction on theory of operation and service of alternative propulsion systems, with emphasis on safety issues and concerns regarding the servicing of these systems. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of AUTO 122 or instructor permission is REQUIRED.
