ANM 256 Concept Development

(Contact Hours: 5) This course is an advanced class in digital artwork application and production. It enables the advanced student in new media to demonstrate, expand, and interrelate his or her competencies through experimentation with traditional and digital media. It focuses on making connections between ideas and visualization in order to solve visual communication problems in design, illustration, and animation. The initial stages of the design process: brainstorming, research, and various forms of conceptualizing and thumbnailing will be emphasized throughout the course. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of ANM 100 is REQUIRED. ANM 141 is recommended.
