CIS 105 Intro to Computer Info Systems
(Contact Hours: 5) This course is for students interested in information technology but have limited technical knowledge of computing systems. Students will explore foundational concepts related to computer hardware and software, networking, databases, programming, information systems, and data security. The course includes hands-on labs to reinforce essential concepts. As the student performs real-world tasks associated with various IT fields, they will gain a broad understanding of available career options. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
