ELT 115 National Electrical Code

(Contact Hours: 3) This is a lecture course covering the basic components used in commercial and industrial wiring systems. Topics include wire and conduit sizing, grounding, voltage drop, over-current protection, hazardous wiring, fuses and circuit breakers, raceway systems, short-circuit calculations, panel boards, and blueprint reading. The latest National Electrical Code is used throughout the course. Recommended prerequisite: ELT 110. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
