EMT 236 Advanced Life Support II

(Contact Hours: 2) The second iteration of advanced life support field work with ALS agencies throughout West Michigan?s 5th district. Students have the opportunity to formulate a field impression, based on analysis of their assessment findings and integrate psychomotor skills in the creation and implementation of a treatment plan. Students are required to document patient encounters across a spectrum of ages and complaints to meet the requirements of the National Registry of EMTs paramedic competency portfolio as required for exam eligibility. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of EMT 138, EMT 144, and EMT 154 is REQUIRED.
