HUM 120H Honors Writing Cities Seminar

(Contact Hours: 3) Students will research and write about the world's great cities to determine how urban planning, architecture, politics, economics, social policy, and the arts affect the lives of city dwellers. This seminar will encourage critical thinking about cities and the significant impact they have on society. This is a KVCC Honors Program course. It provides qualified and highly motivated students with an enriched academic environment through high-impact educational practices and experiential learning in a community of scholarly minded peers. Honors course sections facilitate additional academic challenge and lively interaction with peers and faculty members in small classes. PREREQUISITE: Writing and Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
