PSY 270 Educ Psy Teach Assistantship
(Contact Hours: 3) Students in this writing intensive seminar will examine the assumptions, strategies, and evidence associated with the practice of college teaching. In addition, they will serve as teaching assistants in classes where they have previously distinguished themselves. As such, they will tutor students, conduct group study sessions, help score student work, and facilitate laboratory activities. Recommended prerequisite: Instructor permission. A previous grade of 4.0 in the course selected for the practicum experience. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
