HUM 207 Old Testament/Hebrew Bible

(Contact Hours: 3) The origin and development of the Hebrew religion and Judaism as reflected in the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible are studied in this course. Historical, archaeological, and sociological background is emphasized, along with pivotal personalities, central religious concepts, and ethical practices of the Hebrews. PREREQUISITE: Writing and Reading -- minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
