DHY 242 Orofacial Myology
(Contact Hours: 2) This course introduces the student to the concepts of preventive and interceptive techniques in the treatment of dental malocclusions. The student will learn to detect, document, and treat various oral habits that may be causing or contributing to dental malocclusions. Emphasis is placed on communication skills and behavior modification of client behaviors. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of DHY 131, DHY 135, and DHY 139 is REQUIRED.
