EDMT 100 Fundamentals of Tech Drawing
(Contact Hours: 5) Fundamentals of Technical Drawing is an entry level course for students with no experience in drafting. This class will use manual drafting equipment, procedures, and techniques for creating detailed technical drawings using orthographic projection. Topics will include mechanical, developmental (steel metal transitions and various shaped containers), architectural, and electronic and/or electrical schematic drawings. There will also be a brief exposure/project to a CAD (computer-aided drafting) program and 3D printing. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
