ECO 201 Macroeconomics
(Contact Hours: 3) This principles course surveys basic macroeconomic theories and applications. Macroeconomics is the study of total or "aggregate" economic activity. For instance, the course investigates the problems of inflation and unemployment. Major topics also include: Gross Domestic Product (GDP) measurement, national income determination, money and banking, fiscal and monetary policy, and international finance. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of ENG 110 or ENG 160 and either MATH 098, MATH 099, MATH 106, MATH 120, MATH 150, MATH 152, MATH 156, MATH 158, MATH 160, MATH 162, MATH 216, MATH 220, MATH 260, or MATH 264 is REQUIRED.
