CIS 224 Network Security
(Contact Hours: 5) Students in this course will acquire fundamental knowledge of network security and how the field relates to other areas of information technology. Students will use networking information already acquired to further prepare them to study in specialized security fields. This course also prepares students for the CompTIA Security + Certification Exam. Prior Learning credit available - students must consult a counselor or advisor prior to beginning the assessment process. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of CIS 221 is REQUIRED.
