HVAC 230 Heat Pumps & Chilled Water Sys
(Contact Hours: 3) This course will cover the fundamentals of heat transfer, flow rates, pressures, temperature ranges, temperature splits, and refrigerant charging. There will be an emphasis of basic geo-thermal systems including open and closed loop, air to air systems, and chillers including cooling towers. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of HVAC 118, HVAC 119, HVAC 123, HVAC 124, HVAC 132, and HVAC 133 is REQUIRED.
