The degree is scientifically oriented for in-depth study of foods in relation to the business field. Students may pursue supervisory/managerial careers in hospitals, extended care facilities, school systems, hotel or restaurant food services, industrial food services, food service companies that sell food and equipment, and governmental food and health agencies.
